Tekken 8: The Next Generation of Fighting Games
Tekken 8 is a fighting game developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. This is the eighth installment in the entire Tekken series. The action series resumes with the game's core conflict and will assist in reshaping the franchise. It closely follows the Mishima lineage, which has played a key role in battles over the past three decades.
The previous Tekken games have been superseded by Tekken 8, which is a bigger and more impressive sequel. This episode is more than just a cinematic and exquisite adventure; it also marks a significant turning point in the narrative of the series.
Buffed and redesigned
In Tekken 8, each of the playable characters you choose has its own unique and interesting backstory that players can learn about. Even though many of their courses are identified by the Mishima name, the game has finally moved on from its repetitive father-son story, despite the fact that many of their courses bear the Mishima moniker all throughout the franchise.
The game's new aggressive gameplay is a major update to the franchise. Tekken's signature fighting game style remains intact, and its visceral, screen-jarring strikes and dynamic, destructible surroundings make for a thrilling experience to date, for both players and spectators. A brand new feature dubbed the Heat System causes your character to launch into ferocious fights, complete with unique skills and powerups.
The graphics in this installment is a significant step up from those in the previous games in the series. After undergoing extensive revisions, every character now appears to be more robust and grounded in reality. In comparison to past games in the series, the characters are more detailed and have a bigger appearance; yet, this can be too distracting for some players.
Demo now available
In anticipation of its official launch, Tekken 8 has released its demo, providing awaiting players with a sneak peek of what’s to come. In it, players can engage with the gripping first chapter, The Dark Awakens, as well as delve into the altered-length version of Arcade Quest Chapter 1. As a bonus, the demo also features a gallery that showcases highlighted cutscenes, ranging from the original Tekken to Tekken 7, allowing players to reminisce about the series’ rich history. Overall, the demo provides a tantalizing, immersive glimpse into the full game, meticulously crafted to entertain both newcomers and seasoned veterans.
Better than ever
Despite the fact that some players may find the game's character redesigns to be overly startling, Tekken 8 is an exciting addition to the franchise as a whole and is a must-have for fans of the series. People who have enjoyed earlier entries in the Tekken series and have a preference for the gameplay and narrative will also enjoy this installment.
